Your technology should be boring.

The systems worth having are the ones nobody has to think about. ChampBit builds them and keeps them running: cloud infrastructure on AWS, automation that removes repetitive work, websites and content platforms, marketing and CRM systems, and the everyday IT administration behind it all.

What we do

Six things, done properly

Most of our work sits somewhere between infrastructure and the people using it. We are happy taking over something that already exists, and equally happy starting from nothing.

AWS & cloud infrastructure

Designing, migrating and running workloads on AWS. Networking that makes sense, backups that have actually been restored from, and a bill you can explain line by line.

  • EC2 / ECS
  • RDS
  • S3 + CloudFront
  • IAM & VPC
  • Terraform
  • Cost review

AI automation

The useful kind. We find the tasks your team repeats every week, then build something that does them: document handling, triage, drafting, data extraction, internal assistants that answer from your own material.

  • LLM integration
  • RAG & search
  • Workflow automation
  • Internal tools
  • Evaluation

Web development

Sites and applications built to be fast, accessible and maintainable after we hand them over. No framework churn for its own sake, and no page that takes four seconds to show text.

  • Next.js / React
  • TypeScript
  • APIs
  • E-commerce
  • Performance
  • Accessibility

Marketing & CRM

Setting up and cleaning up the systems that hold your customers. CRM implementation and migration, email and lifecycle automation, lead capture that reaches the right person, and reporting that tells you which campaigns actually paid for themselves.

  • HubSpot
  • Keap / Infusionsoft
  • Salesforce
  • Data migration
  • Email automation
  • GA4 & tracking

Content management systems

Editing that your team can use without calling us. We build and migrate CMS platforms, model the content properly, and lock down the parts that shouldn't be editable.

  • WordPress
  • Payload
  • Sanity
  • Strapi
  • Shopify
  • Migrations

IT support & administration

Accounts, devices, mailboxes, domains, licences, permissions, patching and the tickets nobody wants. The unglamorous work that keeps a company able to open its laptops in the morning.

  • Microsoft 365
  • Google Workspace
  • Identity & access
  • Device management
  • Backup & recovery
  • Monitoring

How we work

Three ways to bring us in

Pick whichever fits. Plenty of clients start with one piece of work and move to a retainer once the dust settles.

Project

A defined piece of work with a scope, a price and an end date. A cloud migration, a new site, an automation, a CRM rollout, a CMS rebuild. You get a written scope before anything is billed.

Fixed scope · Fixed price

Managed

We look after your systems month to month. Updates, backups, monitoring, user accounts, and someone to call when something stops. Sensible for teams with no in-house IT.

Monthly · Ongoing

Advisory

Hours you can use for a second opinion. Architecture reviews, AWS cost audits, security checks, or sitting with your developers while they make a decision they'll live with for years.

By the hour · No lock-in

The stack

What we actually work with

No secret in-house platform you'd be locked into. Everything here is standard, documented and supportable by somebody else if you ever move on.

Answers

Questions we get asked first

If yours isn't here, email it over. We'd rather answer a direct question than send a brochure.

Can you take over work someone else started?

Yes, and often that's the job. We'll read the code or the console, tell you honestly what state it's in, and give you the options before we touch anything.

Our AWS bill keeps climbing. Can you look at it?

We'll go through the account, find what's running that nobody uses, and show you where the money goes. Most accounts have savings sitting in forgotten resources and wrong instance sizes.

Can you move us off Infusionsoft or onto HubSpot?

Yes. CRM migrations are mostly a data problem, not a software problem. We map the fields, clean the records, rebuild the automations, and run both systems in parallel until you’re confident nothing was lost.

Do you work alongside our own team?

Frequently. We can lead a piece of work, support an existing developer, or just cover the areas nobody in-house wants to own. It's your call how much we take on.

Is AI worth it for a business our size?

Sometimes not, and we'll say so. Automation pays off where a task is repeated often and follows rules. If your bottleneck is somewhere else, a model won't fix it.

Who owns what you build?

You do. Code, infrastructure, accounts and documentation are yours, in your own repositories and your own cloud account, from the first day.
